Definition
What is prefab really?

To  keep it simple, the term ‘pre’ refers to the place and moment of fabrication. In other words, a fabrication taking place before or somewhere else than its final construction site. Throughout the years, pre-engineered and pre-fabricated have  somewhat become generic and interchangeable expressions meaning types of homes which primary components are produced, off construction site, in a controlled manufacturing environment. Over time, prefab homes, which are factory-produced, have come to designate more than one construction methods.  Prior to making a new home decision, it is important you should know the advantages and major differences prefab has to offer.
