in prefabricated modules

Save time and money with modular construction. Know that the vast majority of work, including exterior and interior finishes, is carried out on an assembly line in a controlled factory environment sheltered from the elements. This process ensures time, quality and efficiency gains, while reducing delays and reliance on specialized labor. Once delivered, the modules are connected on-site and in one day, a ready-to-finish home takes shape!

Our modular homes - FAQ

It’s a construction method where the elements or modules that make up the house are built in a factory, then transported to the site to be placed on the foundation and assembled.

Modular homes are designed to be optimized without sacrificing quality. Thanks to our efficient modular construction technology, building costs are kept under control. More is done in the factory and less on the construction site. Our Ready-to-Finish Interior also helps you save on management fees for tasks like drywall taping & plastering, painting, flooring, ceramic work, foundation, and basement finishing, for example. In addition, our homes are energy-efficient, which means they consume less energy.

Yes, modular buildings are designed to meet or exceed local building codes and are often just as strong, if not stronger, than traditional constructions.

Modular homes are designed to be energy-efficient and sustainable. Factory prefabrication significantly reduces material waste during production, and since 90% of the construction is completed in the factory, there is minimal material handling on the construction site. Window placement and dimensions are also optimized to minimize PVC and glass waste while maximizing energy performance.
It’s also worth noting that our construction facilities generate very little construction waste, and what is generated is recycled.

As soon as you have the "permit plan" in hand, you can apply for your building permit. The sooner the application is made, the faster you'll receive your permit. In some municipalities, you may need approval from the city council for your project. Our plans comply with the latest building code requirements in the province of Quebec. Please note that in many municipalities, you will need to provide a site plan, which can only be produced by a land surveyor.

We deliver across Quebec and in certain areas of New Brunswick. Each project is evaluated individually to confirm the feasibility of delivery. Additionally, depending on the delivery region, we can offer high-quality installations thanks to our network of Certified Builders Partners.

The cost of delivery of a modular home is included in the selling price up to 300 kilometers from the Rivière-du-Loup factory in Quebec. Additional fees for longer distances or maritime transport are applicable.

The prefabricated modules are typically transported by truck to the construction site, where they are then placed on your foundation using a crane. It is important to ensure the necessary clearance on your property. Please consult with our technical team for further details.

We require a deposit of $3,000 upon signing the contract, as well as deposits at various stages of the process. Your advisor will provide clear information based on your type of financing for example:
Deposit when the house enters the production process at our modular factory (for material purchase)
Deposit prior to delivery of the modules to site
Deposit upon final site inspection & handover of the keys
Please note that disbursements may vary depending on the type of financing.

Modular construction allows for better control over building costs since most of the work is done in the factory under supervision and protected from the elements. With fewer tasks being carried out on-site compared to traditional construction, there are fewer unexpected costs that can impact your budget. Additionally, our home models are optimized at every level (square footage, material usage, options, and color choices), enabling you to reduce the cost of your home and make easy decisions.  Our Ready-to-Finish Interior approach also helps you save on management fees for tasks such as drywall finishing, painting, flooring, ceramic work, basement finishing, foundation, and more.

Prefab homes offer several advantages, including faster construction, better quality control, and cost stability. We will help you identify the costs of your project from the start, as well as potential additional costs. Please note the following factors:
Our modular house price include the cost of delivery within a 300km radius of our manufacturing facility in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec. We deliver across Quebec and beyond by land transport on accessible roads. To find out the delivery cost to your construction site, feel free to contact us.
Land topographies are generally suitable for crane installation; however, a site visit is required to confirm the type of terrain and access points.
Restricted access to the construction site may sometimes require tree removal or the reinforcement of a private road.
We recommend conducting a soil analysis before purchasing the home. The type of foundation required may have an incidence on price of the project.
